PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
SA Antigua #1
|
 |
| Our
partner Spanish language school (SA
Antigua #1) is a well run small school located
in Antigua, about 5 minutes away (walking) from the city center.
The Spanish school is located in a nice colonial building complete
with relaxing inner courtyard. Though a relatively new school
(more than 5 years old), it is quickly gaining a reputation as
one of the best Spanish schools in Guatemala. The Spanish language
school is endorsed by both the Ministerio de Educación
de Guatemala and the Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo.

The
Spanish language school offers as a standard option individual
Spanish instruction for 4 or 6 lessons per day. Starting in June of 2008, we will also be offering Group Spanish classes in Antigua with a maximum of 3 students per class. In addition to
classes, the Spanish school offers a nice variety of interesting
cultural activities and assists students in making other travel
excursions for weekend getaways. As with our other Spanish school
in Antigua, this school offers quality, personalized Spanish language
instruction. Overall, we have found the facilities and Spanish
teachers to be some of the best in Guatemala.

I absolutely love my family here. They are really patient and very good teachers. I also really like the school, it was much more than i expected. In three days I feel like I have learned so much already, and in the process met a lot of really nice people from all over. I find everyone in Angitua, including the tourists, to be very friendly.
~Christie
Things are great in guatemala! I love my professor and I am learning a LOT very quickly. My family is fantastic! My mom talks with me all the time and is careful to make food without meat and without lots of dairy for me. I am having a wonderful time so far. Thanks for checking in!
~Charlotte
I like it here. My classes are great and my teacher is the best. Everyone here is great thanks for setting this up. I am making arrangments to volunteer maybe 2-3 times a week in a Clinica. Other than that my family is very nice and helpful.

the areas they wish to emphasize - conversation, comprehension,
writing, etc.
Group
