Museo de Santa Clara
This museum was initially
the convent of Santa Clara, founded in 1639. In 1985 it was
robbed, and several paintings and gold ornaments were taken.
The museum offers the visitor a general idea of the convent
life in La Plata, through paintings, jewelry, silverware, beautiful
furniture and examples of baroque musical instruments including
a working organ from the 17th Century.
