VISAS REQUIREMENTS
All tourists must have a passport valid for
at least three months beyond intended stay. US citizens traveling
for business or leisure do not require a visa for stays for up
to three months and may need to produce tickets or other documents
as proof for return or onward travel. An extension of this period
is possible.
For students, a student visa may be required depending on both
the nature and duration of the study program, as well as nationality.
Student visas are valid for a year and can be extended after you
enter Chile. It is illegal to work in Chile under either a tourist
or a student visa. Please contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate
for more information.
