ENTERTAINMENT
Playa Flamingo has and the
surrounding area have plento to offer. Some of the selections
include bars, restaurants, casinos, snorkeling, diving, fishing,
bullfights, plus much more.
While not offering the type
of nightlife found in the capital, Playa Flamingo still has enough
nightlife to keep you entertained. Some of the more popular hangouts
include the casinos, salsa dance clubs, and dining.
Playa Flamingo is considered
one of Costa Rica's best beaches. The beach is perfect for relaxing
and catching a tan or doing some swimming. Even better swimming
can be found at nearby Playas Potrero, Playa Brasilita, or Puerto
Viejo.
In Playa Flamingo one can
rent water gear or hire an operator to head out on some fantastic
adventures. Stop by the Edge to find out about the lastest offerings
or to book a tour. Some of the more popular tours are river rafting
on the Coricibi River, boating on the Tempisque, visiting the
Tamarindo Mangroves, day cruises, or sport fishing to name just
a few activities.
You will find that despite
the small size of Playa Flamingo, there are plenty of things to
keep the visitor entertained.
