For
those who like to gamble Costa Rica is a great place. It is
legal to gamble in Costa Rica, and many of the larger hotels
have small casinos. The casinos are a lot of fun, but do not
compare to what you would find in Las Vegas or Atlantic City.
However if you are looking to play craps, roulette or blackjack,
they will do the job.
Overall the casinos have
a very laid back feel to them, which somehow fits considering
you are in the tropics. Be aware that oversight is not as stringent
as in other countries and certain games are definately "stacked'
in favor of the house.
You will see some games are
slightly different and you may see some new games. Sit back
and watch awhile before you start playing.
Have fun!
