LEISURE TIME:
SA Santo Domingo
Outside of Spanish class, the language school's
secretary works nonstop to keep students on top of all of the
social and cultural events which the city has to offer, including
many activities which students can participate in for free. Upon
demand, for example, courses in Latin-American Dance or Creole
cooking can be arranged, while several pre-organized and impromptu
class trips complete a travel study experience which will surely
be unforgettable. The famous allure of Caribbean nights, between
salsa and merengue, cuba libres and piña coladas, friendship
and adventure, are all waiting for you, and you'll never be faced
with the much-hated question: "What should we do tonight?".
Among other delights, "Boca Chica," one of the island's
most famous beaches, lies just 30 minutes away from the capital
by public transportation. In addition, many other special requests
for activities not included in our normal program can be organized
through our school's secretary.
Please note
that additional info (prices, activities, etc) are found to the
right of this pages.
Every weekend the Spanish language
school informs the students about a 1 or 2 day excursion such
as Night Tours, Samana and Jeep Safari, the Crocodile Lake, San
Juan River in a boat and the mysterious Cri-Cri Lagoon, etc..
Information can be had at the Academy.

with a lot of tips about what to visit is available.
