SANTO DOMINGO: WEATHER
Being situated in the
Caribbean, the Domincan Republic's weather can be best described
as tropical. The weather is roughly the same throughout the year.
However the country does experience two seasons, winter and summer.
The "winter" months run from November
to April. The weather during this time has low humidity and low
precipitation. Daytime temperatures average 84 F and nights about
68 F.

The "summer" season
extends from May to October. Highs average 87 F and lows about
72 F. The main differenc in weather relates to humidity. The humidity
makes everything feel much hotter than it really is. Additionally
during these months there is more precipitation on the island.
Overall: expect warm and sunny
weather. Bring light cotton clothing.
