| Our
partner Spanish language school (SA
Cuenca) ar was founded approximately 15 years
ago, and today is considered one of the best schools in South
America. Recognized by the Ministry of Education, the Spanish
language school offers excellent Spanish language programs for
beginner to advanced level Spanish students.
Today the Spanish school is
centrally located in one of the nicer parts of the city where
students have easy access to bars, restaurants, shops, banks,
cybercafes, and transportation. The Spanish school itself is located
in a very nice colonial style building which provides a comfortable
setting in which to learn Spanish.
Please
note that additional info (prices, activities, etc) are found
to the right of this pages.
The Spanish language school
provides quality one-to-one immersions programs for students of
any age and level of Spanish proficiency. The classrooms are clean
and quiet, and students typically enjoy the comfortable social
areas as places to both study and/or meet with each other during
coffee breaks.
In
addition to the Spanish language programs offered in Cuenca, the
school also offers classes in two other extraordinary places in
Ecuador: Alandaluz on the tropical coast of Ecuador, and the Yarina
Lodge in the Coco Region of the Ecuadorian Amazon Basin. These
programs each run one week and are in group class format. Each
of the two areas are located in or near spectacular national preserves
offering students the chance to experience nature at its finest.
In addition to classes in these two distinctive areas students
spend part of the day exploring the area and discovering the treasures
within with the help of an experienced local guide. Contact us
for more information about these options.
Besides offering excellent
Spanish language programs, the Spanish language school also offers
(and or assists in arranging) a variety of interesting cultural
activities and weekend excursions allowing student the chance
to really get to know Cuenca and the rest of Ecuador. Some of
the more popular activities include Salsa dance lessons, visits
to the sites of interest in Cuenca, or trips into the Andes.
As with many of our other
schools, the school not only provides general Spanish language
study, but can also provide specialized programs for business
people, medical personnel, teachers, lawyers, etc. |
