| Puerto Escondido lies right
on the Pacific, with the Sierra Madres to the north and rainforest
to the south.
The climate can be best described
as tropical. Puerto Escondido has two seasons. The summer (wet)
season and winter (dry) season.
Summer temperatures can range
from the mid 70's to the mid 90's while the winter temperature
will range from the mid 60's to the mid 80's. The days are always
warm and can be humid. Nights can be cool and chilly if there
is moisture in the air and the breeze kicks up.
