Our partner Spanish langauge school (SA Playa del Carmen #2) is perfectly situated in the center of Playa del Carmen. The location is literally just a couple of blocks away from some of the most beautiful beaches found anywhere in the world. The Spanish language school was founded in the late 1990's and today it has earned a reputation as an excellent Spanish language school.

The facilities are excellent as are the teachers, classes, and accommodations. This combination of excellent facilities and great teachers allows students learn Spanish in a short period of time while also being immersed in the Mexican culture.

Currently the Spanish language school has 10 classrooms, a small library, an exhibition room, administrative offices and internet services for the students. The facilities have air conditioning, which is important to make sure that students are comfortable during class time. Remember, Playa del Carmen is a tropical location!

The Spanish language school also offers a couple of student residences. The residences are located a short distance from the school and are the perfect choice for students who prefer not to stay with local host families. Students can opt for a private or shared room in the residence. Additionally the school works with a number of local host families who are also located just a short distance from the school in Playa del Carmen.

Overall, we are confident that you will find the Spanish language school to have some of the nicer facilities found anywhere.

Besides offering excellent Spanish language programs, the Spanish language schoole also offers (and or assists in arranging) a variety of interesting cultural activities and weekend excursions allowing student the chance to really get to know this part of Mexico.

As with many of our other schools, the Spanish language school not only provides general Spanish language study, but can also provide specialized language instruction.

• From Playa del Carmen, one can easily visit every major archaeological site on the Yucatan Peninsula.
• The weather is fantastic throughout the entire year.
• This region of Mexico offers some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world.
• The Yucatan Peninsula is world renowned for the abundance of wildlife found in this area. Close to Playa del Carmen are some fantastic natural reserves.
• Throughout this part of Mexico are numerous cenotes (underground caverns full of fresh water).
• Snorkeling and diving in these cenotes is something that should be high on your list of things to do.
• There are few tourists in Playa del Carmen as compared to Cancun and Cozumel.
• Getting to Playa del Carmen is easy. You can fly into either Cancun or Cozumel, both of which are very close.

Group 4 Program: Group instruction, 4 lessons per day, 4-6 students max per class. Courses are held from 9:00 am to 1:00 PM. Students will have highly structured grammar lessons, interactive activities, conversation and written exercises. Specific homework assignments are given daily and every student is evaluated and tested on a weekly basis.

Private Instruction Program: Study Spanish for 4-5 lessons per day (private instruction). If you need to learn Spanish fast, this is your best choice. This program is a private 4-5 lesson course directed towards the student's individual needs. It is designed for people who need to learn as much Spanish as possible in a short period of time or prefer something very intensive, and is structured to meet the student's specific needs regarding grammar, vocabulary, and culture.

Start Dates: Classes at the Spanish language school start EVERY MONDAY throughout the year. The only exception to this occurs when a holiday falls on a Monday.
