PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
SA Monteverde

Students enrolled at our partner Spanish language school (SA Monteverde) have the opportunity to enroll in group classes or take private instruction. The cost associated with private instruction depends upon your specific needs. If you are interested in private instruction please contact us. For group classes, you have one option: 4 lessons a day.

What is nice is that this program can be combined very easily with our SA Tamarindo and our SA Heredia locations. So you can study for a couple of weeks in just one location or combine different locations to create a really unique Costa Rica Spanish immersion experience!

Students of an level of Spanish can participate in this program. You can study and learn Spanish for as short as 1 week up to a period of months. The choice is yours. Programs are set up to fit the specific needs of each student who attends the Spanish language school. You will find these Spanish programs to be an effective way to learn Spanish.

Class sizes at the Spanish language school are no larger than 4 students per class. On your first day of classes, you will be given both written and oral exams to determine your level of Spanish. Following this, you will be placed in an appropriate group.

• One of the most beautiful rainforest areas found anywhere in Central America, or for that matter, the world.
• Surrounding the town of Monteverde, you can explore the pristine rainforests of the Monteverde and Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserves
• The Monteverde area is home to countless numbers of animal, bird, plant, and insect species. The abundance of plant life and wildlife is absolutely incredible! This area is a must see location for people interested in Eco-Tourism!
• Monteverde offers individuals access to numerous outdoor activities ranging from hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, forest canopy tours, etc.
• Almost any location within Costa Rica is only 4-6 hours away by public transportation from Monteverde.

Group 4 lessons Per Day: This is our most popular program. With a maximum of four students per group, your participation is assured and progress guaranteed. Classes are given from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a small break at about 10 a.m. During times of high enrollments, afternoon classes may be given from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This program offers you a lot of Spanish instruction while still allowing you enough free time for other activities. Private Program : If you have a short period of time or prefer a more intensive Spanish language program that the Private Program is for you. You can study Spanish in a one on one setting with your Spanish teacher for 4-6 hours per day. Some students will cover generalized Spanish while other will focus on specific topics. The choice is yours.
