Bocas del Toro Spanish Program Methodology
Take - in Evaluation: You receive
an individual, oral and written evaluation after which the Spanish
language school places you in a class of you level or starts with
your private classes.
Teaching method: The Spanish
language school uses a step-by-step method. You don't advance
to the next step until the Spanish language school knows that
you can use in a conversation what has taught in Spanish class.
According to your progress, you may be moved to different groups
during the program in order to maximize your learning.
Blend: The Spanish language
program contains a blend of grammar introduction and conversation,
games, role playing and other exercises to learn Spanish. The
Spanish language school has extra material as "hand-outs"
that they provide during classes.
At the intensive ( 6 hour per day) course, two
hours extra per day in the late afternoon are included during
which the Spanish language school uses more visual and audio aids
such as images, music and movies.
The materials: The Spanish
language school utilizes three self-made textbooks. The textbooks
contain introductions to grammatical structures and some exercises
& texts. There is one book for beginners, one for intermediates
and one for advanced students. In all three books, grammar is
explained in English. In class teaches use practically only Spanish.
All hand-outs are in Spanish only.
Depending on your goals, the Spanish language
school will only use the textbooks or supply many hand-outs and
use other materials.
Certificate of attendance:
You receive a certificate of attendance at the end of your study
which indicates hours of study.
