SPANISH IN PANAMA:
SA Panama City
In
1999 the United States formely handed over control of the Panama
Canal to Panama. This also meant that the US would abandon its
numerous bases built up along the canal as well.
One of these locations
was Fort Clayton, headquarters for US Army Southern Command. Today
Fort Clayton has been renamed and is now known as the City of
Knowledge. Passing through the City of Knowlege one fines a variety
of institutions and organizations such as UNICEF, the Red Cross,
UNPD, plus many more. Additionally a variety of US and Canadian
universities run semester programs in this area. Some of the more
well known universities include UC Davis, Cornell, Texas A&M,
and McGill University. This is the area where you will also find
the excellent facilities for the Panama Spanish Language School.
Please note
that additional info (prices, activities, etc) are found to the
right of this pages.
The facilities and infrastructure currently in
use in the area is excellent. The buildings, communications, roadways,
etc. are all in excellent shape. The photo (above left) shows
the Spanish school building, which is typical in style to others in the
City of Knowledge.
The building utilized by the Spanish language
school is easily the nicest in comparison to any Spanish language
school in Panama. The classrooms are open and comfortable. The
school provides access to video conference room, broadband, and
a break area.
Nearby our Spanish students have access to recreational
facilities unmatched in most of Central America. The following
photos show some of the immediate surrounding area and facilities
available for our clients. We are confident that you will find
