SA Lima

Our partner Spanish language school (SA Lima) is located in a charming neighborhood in Miraflores, just a short walk to the Malecon. The language school in Lima is located in a lovingly restored building located in an upper middle class neighborhood. Today the Spanish school is home to 8 classrooms, a small library, WIFI Internet, and a student break room. In the immediate surrounding area students will find numerous restaurants, shops, internet cafes, public transporation and much more! Overall we can say that the facilities are excellent and the location within Miraflores is perfect. The teachers are consistently rated to be excellent, the staff friendly, and the administration to be very friendly. All together this helps to make the Spanish language school a great place to learn Spanish while at the same discovering Lima and Peru.

At the Spanish language school, students attend intensive classes during the day and have the opportunity to go home to a Peruvian family homestay in the evening. All day, every day, the intensive Spanish language program exposes students to the Spanish language and Peruvian culture, providing an opportunity for the fastest language learning possible.

The Spanish language school is considered to be a medium sized school. As such you will received excellent personalized attention The school as a series of excellent programs and activities. Most students range between 20-32 years of age. The minimum age accepted at the school is 16. In 2002 the Spanish language program was accredited by the Peruvian Ministry of Education.

Besides offering excellent Spanish language programs, the Spanish language school also offers (and or assists in arranging) a variety of interesting cultural activities and weekend excursions allowing student the chance to really get to know Lima and the rest of Peru. Some of the more popular activities include dance and cooking lessons, visits to sites of interest within Lima and trips to museums.

As with many of our other schools, the Spanish language school not only provides general Spanish language study, but can also provide specialized programs for businesspeople, medical personnel, teachers, lawyers, etc.

Things in Peru are great!  Learning spanish is going to be hard work, but the teachers have been really good in helping us get it. the accommodation's are good too,  the family is really friendly and they are very patient with my lack of Spanish language knowledge. Thanks a lot for taking care of the details when our flight was delayed it was a great relief to come out of the 'secure' zone in the airport and see our names.

School has been great so far, I definately see a big improvement. I can almost piece together a simple sentence! it is very humbling learning a new language. The home I was put in is great, the familia is very nice, the house is also very nice. Thank you for all the effort it took for you to get us here, the three of us are really enjoying ourselves. Also thank you for the promptness of all your replies and actions, that made things very easy.

Group Instruction: Study Spanish for 4 lessons per day (7 students max per group). All classes will be in groups with a maximum 5 students per class, 20 lessons per week. Students will have highly structured grammar lessons, interactive activities, conversation and written exercises. Specific homework assignments are given daily and every student is evaluated and tested on a weekly basis. Learn Spanish In Lima

Private Instruction: Study Spanish for 4 lessons per day (private instruction). This program is a private 4 lesson course directed towards the student's individual needs. It is designed for people who need to learn as much Spanish as possible in a short period of time or prefer something very intensive, and is structured to meet the student's specific needs regarding grammar, vocabulary, and culture.

Combined Instruction Program: Study Spanish for 6 lessons per day with the standard Group 4 lessons per day + 2 private lessons per day). If you need to learn Spanish fast, this is your best choice. This program is a private 4-6 lesson course directed towards the student's individual needs. It is designed for people who need to learn as much Spanish as possible in a short period of time or prefer something very intensive, and is structured to meet the student's specific needs regarding grammar, vocabulary, and culture.

• Private room with a local host family
• 2 meals per day with host family.
• Laundry service with host family.
• Access to email, the internet, phone, and fax service (some services not free).
• Books, handouts, etc.
• Airport pickup (there is an additional cost)
• Cultural activities
• Weekend Excursions (not free)

Start Dates: Classes at the Spanish language school start EVERY MONDAY throughout the year. The only exception to this occurs when a holiday falls on a holiday.
