Antigua, Guatemala
Guatemala offers a majestic location for groups to learn Spanish. Antigua is surrounded by three towering volcanoes, Agua,
Fuego and Acatenango. The towns cobblestone streets, multi-colored buildings, and sprays of bougainvillea are
charming. The buildings have colonial style facades and tile roofs.
There are many ruins including churches, convents, palaces and
mansions. Over 200 years ago Antigua was one of the centers of
Spanish power. Antigua is also home to Indian markets, a wide
range of restaurants, café’s, and a dazzling array
of shops. Antigua is a fascinating place to spend time in and
