Montevideo is the capital of the Republic of
Uruguay. With more than two centuries and a half of existence
it is one of the only continental capitals with a ring of beaches
incorporated into the urban landscape. This singular feature has
given the city's appearance a special character and serves as
a "purifying lung". The city maintains historic testimonies
both in its old and new sectors. Old mansions that once belonged
to notable citizens have been turned into museums. There are magnificent
monuments, the Legislative Palace, countless plazas, promenades,
sculptures and wide avenues that immediately capture the visitor's
attention due to their charming harmony of form and elegance.

The school has a quaint environment with personal
attention given to each individual student. This is very important
for the school as they are very proud of the high percentage of
students who repeat every year or recommend the school to their
relatives or friends. You will also find different nationalities
and ages which creates a very nice atmosphere!
Courses
Group Classes 3 Lessons per day
All their teachers are graduates in the study
of Spanish language and are specialist in teaching Spanish to
foreigners. Their great experience, kindness, motivation, and
confidence creates a pleasurable learning experience. Spanish
classes are taught entirely in the Spanish (immersion method).They
use the communicative method allowing the students to feel confident
in all situations, by emphasizing the use of practical application
of the language. The needs and requirements of the students are
determined, so that whichever teaching method is applied, learning
can be facilitated.
Accommodations
Uruguayan Host Family:
Students will live with local families in order to receive a full
immersion environment. This will allow them to practice their
Spanish in an everyday setting. The host family will provide 3
meals per day for the students which will allow for additional
time to practice their Spanish through conversations at meal time.
There will be up two students per bedroom and in all cases there
will be more than 2 students at one host family.

or history based on their program in Uruguay)
