The Spanish school in Tamarindo, Costa Rica specializes in teaching Spanish to international students with a major focus on all aspects of conversational Spanish in group courses of no more than 6 students. The Spanish school is located in a pristine natural setting withing walking distance of the stunning beaches of Playa Tamarindo.

While the Spanish language is the main focus of the school in Costa Rica, we also offer the option for all group members to take Surfing lessons in combination with your Spanish language studies. The Spanish school also offers intensive Spanish courses where you can take 6 hours of Spanish per day rather than the standard 4 lessons of Spanish which is typical with most schools.

Spanish Courses in Tamarindo, Costa Rica

The instructors at SA Tamarindo will provide the ultimate Spanish immersion learning experience for your Spanish group. The main focus is on conversation and the teacher will provide a challenging but supportive style that allows students to practice what they are learning immediately. Students will learn the formal structures of the language in order to converse effectively using proper grammar while continually developing their vocabulary.

Accommodations in Tamarindo, Costa Rica

Costa Rican Host Family
Students will live with local families in order to receive a full Spanish immersion environment. The group members will live in a authentic Costa Rican town (about 10 minutes from the school by bus). A public bus will take the Spanish group's students to and from Tamarindo each day. Being in this authentic Costa Rican environment allows the students to get away from the touristy nature of Tamarindo and allow them to experience a true Spanish immersion locale.

The Costa Rican host family will provide 2 meals per day for the students which will allow for additional time to practice the Spanish language through conversations at meal time. There will be up two students per bedroom and in almost all cases there will be more than 2 students at one host family. Lunch can be arranged at an additional cost at a local restaurant.

Tamarindo Student Residence
The Tamarindo school's on-site residence is a very popular option for all students as well as groups. The Student residence provides a convenient base for your group's immersion program in Costa Rica due to its proximity to the beach and major poins of interest within Students staying at the Spanish school residence will share a room with other students along with common areas: living room, kitchen and bathroom.

The apartments are basic but nice. A major attribute of the apartments are their built in air conditioning. Each apartment is furnished and the kitchens all have refrigerators and stoves along with all necessary cooking utensils. In the near future the Spanish school will place TV's in each apartment along with cable service.

Note: Due to the limited space, the student residence your group must register their program months in advance to ensure availability for all group members.

Tamarindo Group Spanish Program Prices

The Tamarindo Spanish school provides very affordable pricing for Spanish programs for groups in Costa Rica due to the discounts offered to the Spanish students traveling with the group. Tamarindo is a low cost beach location compared to other schools in Costa Rica. Our Group pricing is based on normal Spanish program prices. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount per student on the total program price or one free program for the group leader depending on the needs of your Spanish group.

The registraton fee for the Tamarindo group Spanish program is also waived for groups with 10 or more students. This is a $90 per person savings making the total Spanish program price even more affordable for your group Spanish immersion program. A $90 per person deposit is due at the time of your group's registration to register your group. The deposit will be used toward the cost of the program.
