The
Spanish Language and Culture classes are offered for students
that have a good grasp of the skills and content of the Intermediate-A
course at the University of Granada. Students can enroll in a
maximum of 5 classes (including the mandatory language course
listed below ) per semester. Each course includes 40 hours of
classroom contact, for a total of 200 contact hours per semester.
The number of hours per week varies depending on the semester
(in the first semester the courses are 4 hours per week and the
second semester they are 3 hours per week). If you require 45
contact hours, you will have the possibility to participate in
a lecture program that will take place on Friday mornings. 
Students
that have a high level of Spanish are able to enroll in courses
focusing on Spanish language and culture. The student must have
a good grasp of the skills and content covered in the Advanced-A
language course. If you have previously completed the Spanish
Language and Culture course at the University of Granada you are
also eligible for the Hispanic Studies Course. It is highly recommended
to enroll in a Spanish language course prior to taking the courses
on culture. The courses are taught by specialists from the University
of Granada.| First semester:
