SERVICES AND FACILITIES

The Center of Modern Languages houses a library which includes material related to language teaching and the literatures of the languages taught at the university. There are also many books on Geography, Art, Spanish History and Culture. There is also a collection of audio-visual aids and Spanish cinema.

The center also has a computer lab where students can access email. The multimedia room is equipped with 14 computers which are used for interactive language courses either in conjunction with those taught by the teachers or as self-learning programs. A language laboratory at the school has 18 booths with the most current equipment which students can use for listening activities and individual viewing of the material available.

The center utilizes audio-visual aids as a tool in teaching and learning languages. The audio-visual department works closely with the teachers in the creation of novel and functional material required by teachers in their classes for audio and video activities, multimedia programs, books, etc. All of the classrooms in the center are equipped with TV, Video, DVD and sound systems. Laptops, video cameras, slides, overhead and video projectors are also available for teaching purposes. The equipment is continually updated and always includes the latest technology.

The school also has a coffee bar in the building which is open throughout lesson hours.
