| In
an area of singular beauty, the finca or campus is comprised of
38,000 square meters surrounded by an extensive pine woods that
affords abundant shade and the wonderful and relaxing tranquility
enjoyed by our students. Our prestigious center is situated on
the outskirts of Marbella and very close to the Hotel Don Carlos
and the General Hospital of the city…and only a 15 minute
walk from the beach.
The principal building includes
the dormitory, the dining room, the residential area for the camp
Counselor/Coaches. The sports facilities include a large swimming
pool, showers, a covered multi-use sports area, paddle ball court,
soccer fields…both green and paved, a basketball/mini-football
court, a handball court, two stables, a newsstand, a game zone
and a farm school all located within extensive gardens that border
onto the pine woods mentioned earlier
Students will receive a total
of 20 Spanish lessons per week divided into four lessons per day
from Monday to Friday. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. Might there
be a trip/special activity planned during a weekday, classes for
that day will be given on the weekend. At the end of the program,
and upon its successful completion, students will be given a certificate
and a progress report.

Accommodation
Students will be lodged at
the school's dormitory. All students will be placed with other
nationalities within their own age group so that the common language
is Spanish. Moreover, they will be divided according to their
gender either in the girls wing or the boys wing. The dormitory
rooms are former classrooms converted into bedrooms. They are
equipped with bunk beds and wardrobes during the summer. Each
room accommodations 8-12 students. A counselor will also sleep
in the rooms with students. Linen will be provided at the camp
but not bath towels.

Arriving in Marbella
The school offers airport pickup from both Malaga
and Madrid (additional expense for both locations). Malaga is
about 30 minutes by car from Marbella. Group transportation is
provided from Madrid on July 3, July 17, July 31, and August 14.
Return transportation in a group to Madrid from Marbella is provided
on July 16, July 30, August 14, and August 28. Individual transportation
can also be arranged (additional expense).
Supervision
The
counselors, Camp Coordinators and the Camp Directors who supervise
students are Spaniards experienced in their fields who the school
selects and motivates to return year after year. They are selected
for their dedication and attention to our students. The younger
students, ages 5-14, will receive a maximum amount of supervision
and will always be in the company of a school employee. Older
students receive a moderate amount of supervision because there
will be time when they are not supervised (walking to school,
shopping, etc.) Older students (those born in 1988 or before)
are allowed 3 off campus trips per two week session. They are
required to contact their counselor/director before leaving the
campus.
Excursions and Special
Trips
Students will take part in one full day trip
and two half day excursions every two weeks to nearby sites of
special interest: Nerja Caves, Sevilla, Marbella city, Mijas,
Granada, an amusement water park, Banús Yatch Harbor, etc.
