Overview
Spanish Abroad, Inc. sends thousands of individuals
each year to study abroad. Over the past few years an increasing
amount of our clients have also been participating in volunteer
programs throughout Latin America & Spain.
Spanish Abroad, Inc. works closely with many
of our partner schools and other organizations to offer volunteer
opportunities to our clients. Volunteer opportunities allow our
clients to work to preserve the rainforests, work in hospitals
or clinics, assist disadvantaged children, work with women, plus
much more. The list of opportunities we offer grows on a monthly

Knowledgeable staff:
When you contact our offices, you have the chance to talk to a
SA Volunteer Specialist who has done one of these programs in
the past. They will help you select a location, select the type
of volunteer work, and answer any other questions you may have.
Using our services will help to make sure that your volunteer
experience abroad is a wonderful experience.

Participate when
you want to: Most of our volunteer opportunities are ongoing
throughout the year. This allows Spanish Abroad, Inc. to place
you in a volunteer program that fits your schedule.

the countries/regions where we offer volunteer program. We feel
each of our clients should have access to great information and
so we work hard to make sure you get it. If you cannot find the
information on our website or in our orientation guides, you can
always contact our office and talk to one of our specialists to
answer whatever questions you may have.
Who Can Participate:
Almost anyone can volunteer abroad. Since we offer a wide range
of volunteer opportunities, there is a good chance that there
is something of interest to you. Note: Some types of volunteer
opportunities can accept almost anyone, while others require certain
types of experience and knowledge of Spanish.
Requirements: It is required
for a student complete at least 2 weeks of classes at a language
school prior to their volunteer experience.
Cost: Some programs do require
a placement fee. Please contact us for details about specific
programs that require a placement fee.
