Our partner Spanish language school in Barcelona (SA Barcelona #1) is located in the heart of the city, just minutes away from everything you would want to see or do. From a convenience standpoint, both the bus stop and metro are a short distance from the Spanish language school. The Spanish school building is spacious with large classrooms and equipped with teaching aids such as video equipment and computers.

This Spanish language school started to help student learn Spanish in Barcelona in the mid 1990's, and today has a reputation as one of the best organizations in Spain. The lessons at the Spanish language school in Barcelona, Spain are lively and varied. The emphasis is on conversation but, of course, the Spanish language school also pays attention to grammar, reading, listening and writing. In the classes, the Spanish language school in Barcelona (Spain) makes use of overhead projectors, video and other audiovisual materials.

To ensure that the Spanish lessons are as practical as possible, you will work with newspaper articles and learn how to conduct a telephone conversation in Spanish, as well as other methods to allow you to practice Spanish in Spain. Standard Program: Group instruction 4 lessons per day, 5-8 average students per class with a max of 12 students per class. This course is offered at all levels from total beginner to advanced. Through various activities, practices and exercises, designed for each level, you will gradually acquire and develop the necessary strategies to understand and communicate messages in Spanish, orally as well as written.

Examples of subjects covered in the lessons include:

Intensive Program: Group instruction 5 lessons per day. Perfect option for someone who wants a more intensive Spanish language program. Average class size ranges from 5-8 students per class with a max number of student of 12. This course is offered at all levels from total beginner to advanced. Through various activities, practices and exercises, designed for each level, you will gradually acquire and develop the necessary strategies to understand and communicate messages in Spanish, orally as well as written.

Individual Language Training: 4 or 6 lessons per day. This course is perfect for those who need specialized instruction or who will only be in Spain for a short period of time. Note: This program will make use of the format shown under the Standard Program. The exception of to this would be when someone has set up a specialized program to cover very specific types of topics.

Start Dates: Non beginners can begin on any Monday. Absolute beginners must start on the dates listed below. Classes run Monday through Friday. Accommodations start Sunday and end on Saturday.

Holidays : For all courses, no classes are held on the following dates:
· Public holidays: 1 January, 6 January, 2 April, 5 April, 24 May, 24 June, 24 September, 12 October, 1 November, 6 December, 8 December.
· Christmas: 20 to 25 December.

No discounts or refunds are applicable to classes lost to public holidays.
