SPANISH AND ARABIC CULTURE
This course is designed to teach students more
about the Arabic culture. Granada was a very important part of
the Arabic world for over 800 years which makes it an excellent
location for the program.
This Spanish and fun course includes seminars
and visits to the most significant places of Granada; the course
consists of 3 weeks Spanish course + 9 hours class on Arabic culture.
Students are required to take at least 3 weeks of Spanish language
classes simultaneously with the Arabic culture course.
Topics covered in the Arabic Culture class includes:
Arabia and the Arabs, Origins of Islam, Expansion of Islam in
the World, Koran Interpretation, Origin of Sects, Arabic culture
and Moresque Arts, and Islam Today.
There is a minimum of 4 students and a maximum
of 16.
