Rainbow Immersion:
your colorful bridge to Spanish society! The inclusion of Rainbow
Immersion is an integral and essential part of all of the Spanish school's
Spanish courses. It provides practical learning experiences and
offers insight into Spanish customs, culture, economy, art and
society.
Rainbow Immersion utilizes
multi sensory learning modules, which activate, strengthen and
complete linguistic knowledge. The activities are interesting,
instructive, exciting, social events. Everything is communicated
in Spanish, but you are seeing, feeling and experiencing colorful
real life Spain. Rainbow Immersion boosts efficiency because it
gives you multi sensory exposure to the Spanish language. This
combined emphasis on both theoretical and practical aspects of
language learning boosts motivation, and whatever your level,
experience has shown us that this methodology increases language
acquisition and confidence which results in significantly improved
ability to master real life situations.

At the end of your course you
will not only take away a significantly improved level of Spanish
but also innumerable and long lasting memories.
The following 3 inter-active
performances are held in the afternoon after regular Spanish classes
three times a week. Participation in Rainbow activities is free
of obligation and included in the price of all Spanish courses.

These classes are moderated by a native Spanish teacher, which
enables you to gain personal impressions of how Spaniards live,
work, and think.

information and practical experiences in a number of selected
areas of contemporary Spain's culture, politics, and economy (e.g.
history of Spanish language; flamenco dance, Mediterranean diet,
local products: saffron, olive oil, cork; fashion in Spain; and
more).
Discover

into the Spanish culture, history, art, and economy (e.g. the
Royal carpet factory, tapas restaurants, modern/old Madrid, bullfighting
training center, police station, local markets, typical high school,
Flamenco school, Prado art museum, etc.).
Full back up material such
as information booklets that accompany Excursions, compilation
of lecture notes, and summaries of the interviews are available.
Cultural
Activities
All these optional courses
are part of an efficient language learning system: they supplement
the teaching concept of "carefully dosed immersion"
in the Spanish language and culture, they are flexible in regard
to times, and they are attuned to different stages of Spanish
proficiency. They facilitate getting in contact with Spaniards
and, thus, considerably accelerate the language learning process.
Once more, they are fun!
