Madrid #2 is a medium size Spanish language school
(maximum capacity 70) located in the heart of Madrid (Spain),
not far from the Retiro Park. The Spanish language school is professionally
managed by dedicated Swiss owners who take advantage of their
first hand experience and long tradition in foreign language acquisition
to provide a well rounded top quality program. The Spanish language
school ’s priority is to deliver quality teaching and practice
orientation in the most up-to-date, efficient and innovative way.
The school caters exclusively to adult students, through a well
balanced Dual Focus Program.
The Spanish language school
in Madrid has been around since 1996 and established a reputation
as one of the best Spanish language schools in Spain and possibly
South America. Few other language schools offer the level of quality,
the vast array of cultural activities and the outstanding personalized
service of this Spanish language school.

The Spanish language school in Madrid offers
a variety of well-developed and flexible Spanish programs. You
have the choice of enrolling in small group classes, private instruction,
or a combination of private and group instruction. All tuition
formats at the Spanish school benefit from the study-accelerating
practice options (see below: Rainbow Immersion). Besides an excellent
general Spanish language program the Spanish school offers outstanding
language courses for healthcare specialists and training for Spanish
teachers. Tailor made programs for professionals of other sectors
are available on request.
The Spanish language school
provides both quality class tuition and high quality practice
options. Its Rainbow Immersion™
program offers, three times a week, all year round, an unparalleled
menu of fascinating language enhancing activities for all tastes
and preferences: An interview to a guest speaker, a guided excursion
highlighting an institution or place of interest in Madrid and
a lecture providing an overview of a particular aspect of modern
Spain. Rainbow Immersion™ adds between 5 to 8 hours of Practice
Focused Experience to your formal classroom program. Rainbow activities
are included in your program package, you are free to attend as
many as you wish. Full back up material, such as information booklets
for each excursion, comprehensive lecture notes, and interview
summaries are available.
To further diversify the offer
of practice opportunities, the Spanish language school has compiled
a number of additional options for students to pick and choose
from in their free time.
In line with the philosophy
of the Spanish language school, the facilities, services and staff
are all tuned to encourage the spirit of enterprise and to ease
access to the Spanish speaking environment. A recent innovative
product of the Spanish school is cityzoom™, an orientation
panel with pocket-sized, self-service guides to 60 museums in
Madrid.

Please Note: Rainbow
ImmersionTM, the practice geared program component
of the Spanish language school is included in all registrations.
It adds between 5 to 8 lessons
of practice focused experience to all formal classroom programs.
Participation is optional, however it is an integral part of
your program, therefore highly recommended.
Standard Program:
Group instruction 4 lessons per
day, 4-7 students per class. Open to individuals of all levels.
Study Spanish In Madrid
Intensive Program:
Group instruction 6 lessons per
day, 4-7 students per class for the first 4 lessons.
The last 2 lessons of class will
have a max. of 4 students. Perfect for those individuals who don't
have much time or who just need a more intensive language program.
Combined PLUS 1 or
2: This is a combination of our Standard Program plus 1-2
lessons of private tutoring in
the afternoon. In the afternoon classes special attention will
be given to your particular needs and interests. No new grammar
concepts are presented, but if you wish, old ones can be reviewed.
The emphasis of the afternoon class is on improving your proficiency
and expanding active vocabulary. These classes nicely complement
morning classes.
Offer for special interest groups:
Healthcare professionals:
A self-developed Spanish training book offers the basis for
doctors and nurses to talk about everything regarding diagnosis,
symptoms, treatment etc. in the relationship between specialist
and patient. Theses students sign up for private instruction
or for a general group course with an additional number of private
lessons per week.
Teacher Training
Workshop: This one-to-one workshop offers introduction
in designing a curriculum, creating didactical tools and how to
cope with a variety of student necessities. Participation requires
advanced intermediate level.
Other specialist
needs: Tailor made programs for professionals of other
sectors are available on request. They are based on private lessons,
and can also be combined with general Spanish group classes. A
questionnaire provides the Spanish school the profile of the learning goals,
based on which the school proposes a tailored offer. Management,
tourism, flight attendants, marketing, social workers, security
agents.
One-to-one instruction:
4 or 6 lessons per day. This course is perfect for those who need
specialized instruction or who will only be in Spain for a short
period of time.
Practice opportunities and
leisure options:

Intercambio
(free): A pool of over 100 Madrilenians offering Spanish
conversation in exchange for talk in your native language
is accessible at the Spanish school. Socialize with locals,
exchange opinions and develop your language skills.

Professional
colleague meeting service (extra charge of 100 Euros):
This service provides contacts with Spanish specialists for
you to explore your profession in Spanish and in Spain. Lawyers,
architects, teachers, physicians, social workers, publicity
professionals, security agents, IT specialists. To be booked
minimum 1 month in advance.

Leisure activity
courses (extra charge): The Spanish school can enroll you in
a local hobby course with Spaniards. Join a course and get
to know Madrilenians. The courses available are dancing (Flamenco,
Sevillana, Salsa, Merengue, Tango), pottery, cooking, wine
tasting, fashion design. Can only be booked in Madrid.

Saturday-Excursion
(extra charge): Every Saturday the Spanish school organizes
an excursion to one of the nearby sights of Madrid. Practice
your Spanish with local guides in a relaxed atmosphere without
a teacher. Can only be booked in Madrid.

Start Dates:
Group classes must start on
dates indicated. Individual classes can start any Monday
of the year.
Note for Holiday's:
50% of the called off group lessons and 100% of private lessons
will be made up during the respective week. Check back for
the holidays as the ones below need to be updated.
