school is situated in the district of Málaga called Pedregalejo
less than 100 meters away from the beach. The school's four Andalusia
villas have bright classrooms with a Mediterranean ´flare´.
To enjoy the sun students go up to the rooftop terrace where there
is also a terrific view of the mountains of Málaga. The
school has many facilities such as TV and video rooms and a computer
laboratory with e-mail service and Internet access. There is also
a small cafeteria that serves coffee, tea, juices, ´bocadillos´,
sandwiches and other snacks.
Program Methodology
 Malaga
PLUS' native-speaking teachers have a university degree in Spanishphilology
and have had professional teacher training. Their knowledge and
experience in teaching foreign students guarantees top-quality
training.
In teaching, the direct method
is used. This means that Spanish is the language of instruction
and the use of other languages is avoided as much as possible.
The vocabulary and grammar are taught in context. Summaries of
grammar and written or oral exercises are provided in schoolbooks,
which are designed by the teachers.
 Much
emphasis is put on the speaking ability of the students. Students
willhave to preparesmall oral lectures and presentations to hold
group discussions. In addition audio and video equipment, songs,
newspapers, magazines, and language games are used to incorporate
the many different ways a language can be used.
