Methodology:
SA Salamanca #1
The
methodology is based on acquiring the linguistic, pragmatic
and functional aspects of language learning along with the socio-cultural
elements of the Spanish way of life. Students are given 20,
or 30 lessons (55 minutes each) per week. Wednesday afternoons
are devoted to learn more about Spanish culture.
In all the courses the Spanish
language school tries to instruct individually and then integrate
the four language skills: reading,
writing, speaking and listening.
In addition to these skills, the Spanish language school also
emphasizes grammatical structure so the student can eventually
reach the threshold of communicative proficiency. The Spanish
language school in Salamanca feels that learning a language
is a dynamic process in which the students live within the Spanish
culture while being totally immersed in the language itself.
In order to broaden the student's general perspective, the school
offers the possibility of studying many different aspects of
the Spanish culture including History, Art, Civilization, Literature,
Cinema, etc.
