Sebastian is the most fashionable and truely cosmopolitian city
in Spain. It is a wonderful place to enjoy Spains cultural offerings
with its monuments, palaces and churches along with its modern
commerical centers, restaurants, shops and nightclubs. During
the warm summer days, this beach area is a favorite destination
for tourists and locals alike.
Barcelona
Barcelona,
on the foot of the Mount Montjuic, is the capital of Catalonia.
It is a Mediterranean city, not only
because of its location and pleasant climate but also because
of its history, tradition and culture. Great architectural works
by Antoni Gaudi, Lluís Domènech i Montaner
and other modernist Architects dominate the cityscape. La Rambla
is a great tree canopied parkway, rich in tradition and history
and is usually crowded with performers, artists and vendors. The
beaches of Barcelona attract a lot of visitors every year. Apart
from being very clean the beaches offer several facilities including
disabled access, beach lifeguards, sun beds, tents, umbrellas
and showers.
Madrid
Madrid
has several wonderful attractions and has something to offer for
all ages. Whether you are looking for thrills and excitement,
history and exhibitions, or animals and the more exotic, you can
find it all here. Just two and a half hour drive from Salamanca
it offers vibrant nightlife, architecture and museums with its
unsurpassed collection of paintings by some of the world's great
artists, including Goya, El Greco, Velázquez, Picasso,
and Dalí.
Porto
Porto
is the second largest city in Portugal. Ribeira quarter is full
of narrow twisting streets and buildings with colorful facades.
The biggest attraction is its sweet wine called port. There are
several wine tasting tours along with tours of the local wine
distilleries.
