The best way to see Salamanca
is on foot as the city is pretty compact and all attractions are
walking distance from the center of town. The old historical center
of the city where the Plaza Mayor is located is the center of
attraction with its nightlife, university, and shopping.
Bus
Cheap way to get around town is on the bus. Be prepared busses
become very crowded on rainy days!
Taxi
Taxis are readily available from taxi points located just outside
of the Plaza Mayor or just outside the old quarter area. Make
sure you determine the fare to your destination before hand.
Train
The best way to travel to other towns
is taking the train.
