There are a variety of ways in which you can
get to Santiago de Compostela. Spain has excellent public transporation,
so you will find getting around is very easy.
By Plane
Aeropuerto de Lavacolla is located about 11 km
from downtown Santiago de Compostela. You can find details about
this and other airports in Spain on this site www.aena.es
Once there select English and then you can select the airport
on the drop down menu. There are daily flights from major Spanish
cities.
Note: Check www.ryanair.com
and other discount European carriers for discounted flights from
other European countries. Currently Ryan Air has VERY cheap flights
from London (Stansted) to Santiago de Compostela.
By Train
The train station is located at Rúa do
Hórreo. There are numerous daily trains to various cities
in Spain. Check www.renfe.es

By Bus
The bus terminal is called Estación Central
de Autobuses and is located at Calle San Cayetano.
Busses run to many different towns and cities
