PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
SA Sevilla #1 (Seville)
Our
partner Spanish language school (SA
Sevilla #1) in Seville, Spain is located in one
of the premier areas in the heart of Sevilla. The immediate surrounding
area is a lively pedestrian area full of historic sites of interest,
shops, bars and sidewalk cafes. The Spanish school itself occupies
a recently restored 4 story traditional Sevillian style building
with bright classrooms and a nice rooftop terrace. We feel that
the building and the location within Sevilla, combined with a
professional and friendly staff, makes this Spanish language school
an excellent place to study and learn Spanish.
From the Spanish language school,
virtually all sites of interest are within a short walking distance.
Some of the more popular nearby sites include the Royal Palace,
the Cathedral, the Town Hall, and some historic park areas.
Overall our past students have
rated this school as excellent. The school’s facilities
are modern and well-equipped, the teachers are highly qualified,
and the program follows the guidelines set by Instituto Cervantes.
A great feature about this school is that it is small enough to
offer a very personalized experience. The school has a maxium
capacity of 60 students and utilizes 8 comfortable classrooms.
The Spanish language school
understand that a students´ main object is to be able to
communicate in the street and be able to do daily activities within
the Spanish environment, therefore the type of methodology utilized
is fundamentally communicative, of course with the necessary grammar
as well.
In
each class students practice the four main skills (reading, writing,
oral comprehension, and oral expression) and whenever possible,
it is done in an integrated way, as this is how it is in real
situations. This way the school converts the Spanish class into
the ideal context to be able to reach the communicative objectives
proposed in each level.
Part of any good immersion
program relates to its cultural component. The Spanish language
school in Sevilla offers a nice range of cultural activities and
excursions which allow students to discover both the city and
the country. Each week there is a list of upcoming activities
that will be available.
As with many of our other Spanish
schools, the Spanish school in Sevilla (Seville) Spain not only
provides general Spanish language study, but can also provide
specialized programs for business people, lawyers, teachers, etc.
Specialized Spanish courses are offered under a private instruction
format.
