Janda is a small and personal school located in a very special
environment. The school is ideal for the student who wants to
experience the Spanish way of life in very unique surroundings.
Recently La Janda signed an agreement to collaborate closely with
our CLIC school in Sevilla. Standards at La Janda have been adjusted
to fall in line with what CLIC offers. In addition this agreement
now makes it very easy for students to spend time at both locations
and receive virtually the same quality of instruction. What better
way to learn Spanish while at the same time discovering two different
parts of Spain.
 La
Janda offers language courses and programs that emphasize theparticipant's
ability to communicate. The goal of the school is to help the
student intensively develop their linguistic skills. While the
reading and writing aspect is covered the main emphasis is working
on a students speaking abilities.
La Janda offers students the
opportunity to take small group instruction and private instruction.
As with many of our schools, the private instruction portion can
be used to cover specialized topics.
 This
summer course takes place in a separate building and is designed
for 13 to 17 year olds. It offers them the chance to study Spanish
in a safe environment near some of Spain’s most beautiful
beaches.
Students take Spanish courses in the mornings
followed by a varied program of activities in the afternoon which
include sports, parties, visits to places of local interest and
the beach and a full day excursion on Saturdays. Accommodation
is full-board in Spanish host families in Vejer. Airport transfers
to and from Jerez are included in the price and Seville and Malaga
airport transfers may be shared at reduced rates.

June 30th, July 14th, 28th and August 11th.
Last day of program in 2003:
August 29th.
This program includes full-board in double rooms
with selected Spanish host families. 20 classes per week, sports,
afternoons at the beach, fiestas, half-day excursions to natural
reserves, adventure sports, one half day and one full day excursion
per week to Cadiz, Tarifa and Bolonia, Sevilla or Cordoba. Horse
riding and tennis courses optional. Jerez airport transfer (on
arrival and departure). Sevilla and Malaga airport transfers may
be shared at reduced rates.
