Family
Staying wiht a host family
is a great way to learn about Salamanca, Spain and to practice
your Spanish. With the family you can opt for the option with
2 or 3 meals per day. You can also opt for your own private bedroom
or to share it with another student at the Spanish language school
in Salamanca.
You will be given your
own keys, so you can come and go as you please. During your home-stay
you will be able to receive phone calls.
 The
vast majority of the host families have worked with the Spanish
language school for many years.
The families know from experience what the role of a host is.
Accommodation in a host
family allows you to get the maximum out of your course. Nowhere
else will you so directly experience real Spanish life. Nothing
could be better to help improve your language skills. The word
"family'" should not be taken too literally, because
your family could also be just a single parent who takes in students
because he or she enjoys the company. You wouldn't be the first
to go out together, or to keep in contact with the family after
your return home.

Student Flat
Sharing an apartment means that you will live
with other international students and have the chance to learn
about their own countries and cultures. In choosing this option
you can make new, international friends that could last a lifetime!
All student apartments are furnished and have
a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. They are not luxurious,
but have everything you may need: a television, stove, refrigerator
and washing machine. In choosing this option you will
need to bring bed linens and towels.
Student Residence
During the academic school year, students can
become acquainted with Spanish university students who live in
the same residence. There is no better way to immerse yourself
completely into Spanish university life. If you come in summer,
you will live in this unique residence with other international
students who have come from all over the world, and you will enjoy
the nice weather in the pleasant and spacious gardens or using
the sports facilities that the campus and the city have to offer.
The residence is on the campus of Cardenal Cisneros
University which is located in a modern residential area in Alcalá
de Henares. Just a 15 minute walk from the train station and 25
minutes from the Plaza de Cervantes, the campus is situated in
a tranquil and pleasant part of the city, with wide avenues and
a variety of shops and restaurants.
